Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
VirtualHouse Audio is a trade name of VirtualHouse Software LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“we”, “us”). We operate virtualhouseaudio.com and make audio software for Windows and Android. Contact us about privacy at support@virtualhouseaudio.com.
2. What we collect, and why
- Email signups and free downloads: your email address (and your name, if you give it) when you join our list or download a free product. For a download, we use it only to send you the download link, unless you tick the box to also get product news. If you tick it, or join our list, we send the updates you asked for, and every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link.
- Purchases: handled by our licensing and checkout provider, Moonbase, which acts as the merchant of record. Moonbase collects your name, email address, billing country and order details to complete the sale, issue your license and handle taxes. Your full payment card details go to Moonbase and its payment processors, never to us.
- Plug-in licensing: when you activate, check or deactivate a license, the plug-in sends the following to Moonbase: your computer’s name, a one-way code that identifies the computer (made from hardware details; the details themselves are not sent), the product, the plug-in version, your operating system and, once you have one, your license. This is used only to issue, verify and manage your license, including the three-computer limit. Free products send nothing. No audio, project data or usage information is ever sent.
- Android apps: our Android apps are distributed through Google Play. They process audio on your phone and do not send audio, measurements or usage data to us. Any purchase inside an app is handled by Google Play under Google’s privacy policy.
- Support: whatever you send us when you contact support, including the “Copy system info” text from a plug-in if you include it.
3. How we share it
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the providers needed to run the business: Moonbase (checkout and licensing), our email provider (signups and updates), and Google Play for Android apps. Each handles your data under its own privacy policy.
4. Cookies and analytics
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we will update this policy first.
5. How long we keep it
Order and license records are kept for as long as your license is active and as long as the law requires for accounting. Email signups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Support emails are kept for up to two years.
6. Your rights
You can ask for a copy, correction or deletion of your personal data, or ask us to deactivate a computer from your license, by writing to support@virtualhouseaudio.com. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU, UK or another place with data-protection rights, those rights apply in full.
7. Children
Our products and services are for people aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always posted here with its effective date.
